Students will safely investigate how unwanted bee activity affects their school community, gather information from multiple perspectives, look for patterns, and define questions that will guide evidence-based action.

Students will examine reliable texts, prior teacher-approved observation records, and expert input to identify patterns in bee activity, explain likely causes and effects, and evaluate safe, humane responses. They will use evidence to develop a source report, root-cause claim, and preliminary solution proposal for the school community.

Students will use evidence and bee-activity patterns from earlier phases to design a safe, humane response for the school community. They will study effective examples, make a testable prediction, plan a solution, and improve a prototype through two rounds of feedback, demonstrating that when a problem affects a community, people gather information, look for patterns, and choose actions based on evidence.

Students will safely pilot their approved bee-safety solutions, gather evidence from a teacher-approved distance, and use patterns and community feedback to evaluate and improve their solutions.

Students will present their evidence-based bee-safety solutions to an authentic school audience and reflect on how research, collaboration, feedback, and community impact shaped their growth.
