Learning Goals
I will be able to formulate a focused question about how textures, shapes, sizes, or spatial relationships help explain a living thing, object, or process.
I will be able to design and document a manageable observation method for examining the same subject consistently and safely.
I will be able to collect visual evidence about a subject through labeled field notes, close-observation sketches, and basic comparisons.
I will be able to analyze my observation evidence to select and justify the details that make a scientific drawing clear to others.
I will be able to apply drawing media, materials, and techniques to accurately communicate the observable features of my subject.
I will be able to evaluate partner feedback and revise my scientific drawing while explaining how the changes improve clarity and express my artistic voice.
