Students will launch the project by investigating holiday photos, music, and artifacts through a quick Passport Adventure, then share first comparisons and questions about what celebrations reveal about cultures and communities.

Students will turn early holiday observations into a simple investigation plan by asking compare-and-contrast questions, choosing what evidence to collect, testing a picture-based Venn diagram method, and revising their draft with peer feedback before moving into deeper evidence gathering.

Students will gather final comparison evidence from artifacts, music, images, and a community partner; sort that evidence into clear picture-supported notes; revise their Venn diagrams through partner critique; and prepare a concise gallery display with oral explanations about what two holiday celebrations reveal about culture and community.
