Learning Goals
Students will be able to identify and describe school rules for safe travel through Spruce School, including keeping hands to themselves, using kind words, being respectful and honest, doing their best work, and following directions.
Students will be able to demonstrate safe hallway travel behaviors in Spruce School by stopping, lining up, walking quietly, and keeping hands to themselves.
Students will be able to create and revise hallway safety posters that teach others how to travel respectfully through Spruce School using drawings, labels, and oral explanations.

My Spruce School Safety Poster and Oral Explanation
Each student makes one simple poster for a school space and explains how to travel safely there using pictures and words. The poster must show one clear hallway expectation learned from direct practice and feedback.
Class Hallway Safety Sign Set for Spruce School
Small groups create a shared set of revised hallway safety signs for key school locations. The signs combine individual ideas and feedback from buddies, Safety Patrol, and the teacher into a final poster set that can be used in the hallways.
