Students will experience the project hook through a guided mystery route in Spruce School, notice what safe and respectful travel looks like in real spaces, and help begin a shared plan for the hallway safety sign set they will design next.

Students will sketch a quick hallway safety sign, test it during a buddy walk-through with third graders, gather simple feedback about what viewers understand, and revise the sign so it better teaches safe travel in Spruce School.

Students will share their finished hallway safety posters in real school spaces, model safe travel with an authentic audience, and show what they learned through a brief performance-based check and reflection.
