Students will meet school helpers through a short kickoff parade, notice what each person does to keep the school safe and organized, and share oral observations, questions, and helping ideas that launch the class inquiry and picture book work.

Students will investigate what they still need to learn about school helpers by watching a short mystery scenario, co-creating interview questions, and planning how to gather and record evidence for the class picture book. They will practice listening, comparing ideas, giving feedback in circle, and revising their shared plan before the first staff visits.

Students will share the completed class picture book and gallery materials with school helpers and other visitors, orally explain what they learned from interviews, listen to appreciation and feedback, and close with a brief reflection on how their actions helped the school community.
