Students will explore a mini college expo, identify what makes a college a strong fit, and begin shaping researchable college-fit questions and selection criteria for the investigation ahead.

Students will turn broad curiosity about college options into a focused, researchable college-fit investigation. They will study how college type, admissions, cost, and financial aid can be investigated with available sources, then draft and peer-critique a question, hypothesis, and research plan that will guide evidence collection in the next phase.

Students will gather and document credible evidence about one selected college, check whether their notes truly answer their investigation question, and strengthen their source quality, organization, and discussion-based reasoning before moving into analysis.

Students will analyze college research evidence for patterns, tradeoffs, and contradictions; test their interpretations through discussion and peer critique; and turn their findings into a draft college fair presentation with a clear college-fit claim, supporting evidence, limitations, and curated visuals ready for revision before the final showcase.

Students will present their completed college fair displays to an authentic audience, gather and use attendee feedback to evaluate how clearly their evidence and visuals communicate college fit, and complete a final reflection on what they learned about postsecondary options, research, and presentation.
