Spanish Authenticity Analysis Essay
Students write a paragraph-length analytical essay in Spanish explaining how one scene from Extra portrays youth culture, relationships, and daily life. They support their claim with specific evidence from the clip and compare it to one other Spanish-language or U.S. media text.
Cultural Authenticity Podcast Episode
Teams produce and present a polished Spanish-language podcast episode debating how authentically Extra represents the Spanish-speaking world. The episode must include scene analysis, comparisons to other media, and a clear, evidence-based conclusion.
