Participants will launch the PS–8 writing curriculum review by examining current evidence, testing initial interpretations with colleagues, clarifying the committee’s charge, and identifying priority questions for the Year 1 investigation.

Participants will refine a focused inquiry into PS–8 writing coherence, evaluate evidence sources and ethical requirements, and collaboratively produce a peer-reviewed methodology plan that guides the Year 1 current-state review without prematurely selecting or piloting resources.

Participants will audit and visualize current-state PS–8 writing evidence, interpret patterns and anomalies, and revise a bounded direction statement and recommendations through collegial and leadership feedback before the Showcase.

Participants will present, defend, and refine the PS–8 writing curriculum review portfolio with writing faculty, academic leaders, consultants, students, and family representatives, then document feedback, revisions, unresolved questions, and next steps.
