Launch
Students will enter the project through a hands-on pop-up zine studio, analyze how independent publications create audience, voice, and visual identity, and begin framing what the first Noyo zine could become. The launch sets the creative and professional expectations for a student-run publishing collective while generating concrete observations that will feed the empathy research and editorial direction work in the next phase.

Publish & Present
Students will finalize the inaugural Noyo zine as a prototype-ready publication by tightening layout, copy, sequencing, permissions, pricing, and outreach materials. They will test the near-final issue with representative readers and community-facing stakeholders, revise based on evidence, and prepare a concise presentation that shows how research, editorial judgment, design iteration, and production planning shaped the publication.
