Students will launch the environmental chemistry investigation by rotating through rapid phenomenon stations, documenting observable chemical changes and ecosystem questions, and selecting an issue they want to investigate with a mixed regular-and-honors team in the next phase.

Students will choose one environmental chemistry issue, refine an investigable question and hypothesis, compare possible evidence-collection methods, and build a peer-reviewed plan for data, source notes, and storyboard claims that will guide their PSA work with cross-class partners.
