My Folktale Story Map and Puppet Prototype Portfolio
Each student creates a story map, a picture-sequenced retell, one simple puppet prototype, and a short reflection drawing or dictated response. This proves individual understanding of the folktale, character perspective, and how design choices support storytelling.
Collaborative Puppet Show with Problem Statement and Revised Set
Small groups create a shared problem statement, rehearse a low-tech puppet performance, and present a revised puppet show with puppets, props, and a simple stage/set. The team product shows how each child’s ideas and feedback shaped the final performance for families and classmates.
