Students will launch the project by investigating what hiring teams notice first, analyzing evidence from employer examples, and setting up a question-driven plan for how they will study and improve their own professional readiness over time.

Students will investigate what hiring teams notice first by analyzing employer examples, comparing possible evidence-collection methods, and drafting a testable hypothesis about how they can stand out professionally. They will build a structured plan for documenting resume growth, interview practice, and teamwork evidence at Walmart, then improve that plan through peer critique, parent input, and a milestone review before moving into evidence collection.

Students will gather, tag, and verify evidence from resume revisions, interview practice, and Walmart teamwork observations so they can trace claims about professional growth to specific artifacts, behaviors, and outcomes.

Students will analyze patterns in their collected hiring evidence, turn those findings into supported claims about how they stand out professionally, revise their application and interview materials based on feedback, complete a Target-style recorded interview, and use critique from peers and hired candidates to strengthen an evidence-based career fair presentation.

Students will present their Stand Out Professionally portfolio and interview evidence to an authentic audience, participate in a career fair-style showcase with Walmart and other guests, and record a final video reflection that explains how feedback, revision, and evidence helped them stand out professionally.
