Students will launch the apple life cycle investigation by tasting and observing apple slices, sharing details with a partner, and wondering about how an apple changes as it grows.

Students will investigate how apples change over time by asking questions, studying books, photos, and real apple evidence, and using sequence cards to build a plan for their foldable life cycle book.

Students will share their apple life cycle learning with visitors, explain the stages in order using their foldable books and display materials, and reflect on one thing they learned and one feeling they had about the investigation.
