Day-by-Day Community Investigation Notebook

A guided notebook organized by daily lesson, with one page or section for each day’s question, source notes, sketch/map work, partner talk, and reflection. This makes each student’s learning visible across the project and supports specific lesson plans per day.

Our City Helps Us Slideshow and Problem-Solving Presentation

Small teams create a short slideshow and oral presentation that explain a community need, what local government does to help, and how people can work together to solve the problem. The presentation uses evidence from the daily investigation and includes one revision based on peer or teacher feedback.
