Students will launch the woodshop safety project by analyzing realistic hazard scenarios, connecting the work to the driving questions, and selecting a tool or machine focus for later investigation and poster/presentation design.

Students will investigate a confusing woodshop safety scenario, refine an evidence-based question about one workstation, and build a peer-reviewed plan for collecting reliable safety information that will support their later poster and presentation.

Students will use their investigation plans to gather and organize woodshop safety evidence, compare safety options using clear criteria, revise workstation poster and presentation materials through peer critique, and complete a scored team presentation package ready for installation in the shop.

Students will present their workstation safety posters and brief safety guideline talks to classmates and invited shop stakeholders, install the finished posters at the correct stations, and complete a short evidence-based reflection on how their investigation shaped the final safety system.
