Students will experience a hands-on project launch that introduces community hazards, the driving question, and the core routines of observing, recording evidence, and asking investigable questions for later phases.

Students will turn early hazard observations into a focused investigation plan by practicing how to ask testable questions, write a simple hypothesis, choose what evidence to collect, and build a peer-reviewed data plan before starting larger testing.

Students will sort and analyze their hazard investigation evidence, turn results into clear visuals, test their interpretations through peer critique, and produce a science-fair-ready infographic or PSA draft with an evidence-based conclusion and community safety recommendation.

Students will present their final hazard investigation products to an authentic audience at a science-fair-style showcase, explain their evidence-based safety recommendation, respond to audience questions, and complete a brief reflection on how observations, data, model testing, and feedback shaped their final claim.
