Learning Goals
Students will be able to investigate ultimate frisbee movement patterns and identify how cutting, spacing, pivoting, and timing reduce turnovers and create scoring chances.
Students will be able to analyze healthful practices and body-use strategies that support safe performance in ultimate frisbee, including warm-up, hydration, energy control, and injury prevention.
Students will be able to collaborate and justify team strategy adjustments using feedback, evidence from play, and self-assessment conferences to improve communication and reduce turnovers.

Ultimate Frisbee Investigation Notebook
Students document their question, practice observations, warm-up and hydration choices, source or peer feedback notes, and a personal analysis of what helped or hurt performance. The notebook shows individual mastery of evidence-based reasoning about movement, safety, and game decisions.
Ultimate Frisbee Exhibition Match Report and Strategy Brief
Teams synthesize evidence from all members into a formal report and short presentation that explains their play plan, key data or observation patterns, revised communication cues, and limitations. The product culminates in a live exhibition match that demonstrates coordinated application of the team's conclusions.
