California Industry Research Report and Prototype Slide
Each student creates a typed research report explaining one California industry’s past, present, and future impact, then designs one prototype Google Slide that previews how that evidence could be shared with the task force. The prototype must show how research findings translate into a clear, audience-friendly message.
California Task Force Newspaper, Slide Deck, and Recommendation Speech
Teams produce a shared newspaper-style publication, a polished Google Slides presentation, and a formal recommendation speech arguing which California industries deserve future investment. The team product must combine individual research evidence, expert input, and multiple perspectives into one collaborative solution for the audience.
