Students will launch the healthcare career investigation by experiencing a fast-paced entry event, unpacking the driving question, and setting up a research approach they will use in later phases to study pathway access and community impact.

Students will refine an investigable question about their assigned healthcare career, evaluate and select credible sources, plan a method for comparing pathway access factors, and build an evidence plan that connects a community health problem to professional responsibilities before moving into full evidence collection.

Students will collect traceable evidence from credible sources, document pathway and accessibility data in organized notes with citations, draft key sections of their paired research essay, and create a preliminary infographic for critique and revision before moving into full analysis.

Students will analyze their collected evidence, test their conclusions against counterexamples and peer critique, finalize a one-page visual summary and paired research essay, and prepare for the Career Expo by strengthening claims, visuals, and spoken explanations for an authentic audience.

Students will present their completed healthcare career investigation to upperclassmen and invited medical professionals, use audience questions and feedback as evidence of communication strength, and record a brief partner reflection on how their understanding and presentation skills developed.
