My Story Retell Research Notebook
Students will complete a personal investigation notebook with story notes, a character map, a setting sketch, sequence cards, and a short written or illustrated retell. It shows how each student used evidence from the story to retell it clearly and in order.
Class Story Retell Theater Presentation
Small groups will combine their individual evidence to perform a clear retelling of the shared story using props, story cards, and simple speaking parts. The presentation must show shared understanding of the story sequence, important details, and complete ending.
