individual

Community Issue Research Portfolio with Individual Prototype Sketch and Rationale

Each student compiles firsthand research from interviews, observations, and source notes, then creates one individual prototype sketch or action-plan concept that responds to the evidence. The portfolio shows how user needs shaped the student’s idea and what would need to be tested next.

team

Community Improvement Proposal, Tested Prototype, and Public Showcase Presentation

Teams combine individual research into one evidence-based problem statement, then develop a higher-fidelity prototype or service solution and present it to authentic stakeholders. The package includes the shared solution narrative, a progress chart, and a newspaper-style article explaining the need, iterations, and expected impact.
