Launch
Launch
You will launch your website project by testing AI-generated code in VS Code, examining what makes a site useful for a real audience, and setting an initial direction for a website topic you care about. You will leave this phase with a first project idea, evidence from code testing, and a clear next step for building a purposeful site.
Days 1 - 2
Empathy & Assumptions
Empathy & Assumptions
You will investigate who your website is for before building major features. Through quick instruction, direct user interviews with classmates, teacher feedback, assumption checking, and an evidence-based summary, you will gather real audience information that can guide later HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and AI-supported design choices.
Days 3 - 6
Prototype & Validate
Prototype & Validate
You will turn your website idea into a tested prototype, collect feedback from classmates and the teacher, and revise it through two documented iteration cycles. You will use VS Code, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and AI support carefully, checking what works for real users and what still needs your judgment before moving into the final showcase phase.
Days 11 - 14
Showcase
Showcase
You will present your finished website, explain how it serves a real purpose, show how your TypeScript feature works, and use feedback and evidence from testing to justify your design and coding decisions. You will also review how AI supported your process, where it failed or needed revision, and what you learned about building for real users.
