Students will explore the vital roles of pollinators by visiting a local apiary and engaging with beekeepers, capturing observations and insights in reflection journals to understand the needs and challenges of these species and set the stage for their project journey.

Students will synthesize their empathy findings from the pollinator parade, using this insight to clearly define the impact of pollinators on ecosystems and identify creative solutions to protect these species, paving the way for subsequent ideation.

Students will brainstorm creative solutions to protect pollinators, using insights from their research and interviews with community partners, and outline diverse ideas for their multimedia presentations, focusing on effectively communicating their findings.

Students will develop low-fidelity prototypes of their multimedia presentations, creatively combining insights from beekeepers, interactive elements, and visual content to outline their solutions for pollinator habitat protection, setting the stage for peer evaluation and refinement in the next phase.
