Initial ideas

Students create a podcast to reflect on their middle school years. They can reflect on their learning, funny memories, experiences, favorite things, etc. The goal is for students to communicate their reflections, but also have fun. I would give the option of working independently or with a partner. Podcast should have a title. Podcasts could include music, fade aways, or other tech aspects. There should be personality and voice.

My project will be about the process of letting the students' imagination flow and to get a chance to know them a little better. It will be arts and crafts related, they can draw, cut paper and glue pieces together, anything that's arts and crafts related.

**Existing Material for My LTI Project** The existing material for my project comes from my internship experience at Gold’s Gym. During my internship, I was responsible for cleaning equipment, maintaining workout areas, and helping keep the facility organized. Through this experience, I was able to observe how the gym operates on a daily basis, including staff roles, member behavior, and overall workflow. While working, I noticed that cleaning tasks were often repetitive and lacked structure. There was no clear system in place to organize responsibilities, which sometimes made the work less efficient. This helped me identify a real need at the gym: improving the organization and consistency of cleaning and maintenance. Based on this, I brainstormed several possible solutions that will serve as the foundation for my project. These include creating cleaning checklist stations, setting up spray-and-wipe stations, developing a cleaning rotation schedule, designing “Clean Before You Go” reminder signs, and introducing a cleaning buddy system. These experiences, observations, and ideas will be the starting point for developing my final project.
